On Stack Exchange, we believe the core moderators should come from the community, and be elected by the community itself through popular vote. We hold regular elections to determine who these community moderators will be.

Community moderators are accorded the highest level of privilege on our community, and should themselves be exemplars of positive behavior and leaders within the community.

Our general criteria for moderators is as follows:

  • patient and fair
  • leads by example
  • shows respect for their fellow community members in their actions and words
  • open to some light but firm moderation to keep the community on track and resolve (hopefully) uncommon disputes and exceptions

Full elections have three phases and an optional fourth phase (Primary):

  1. Question Collection
  2. Nomination
  3. Primary
  4. Election

Please participate in the moderator elections by voting, and perhaps even by nominating yourself to be a community moderator!

Hello, I think I would be a good moderator because:

  • I like the EOSIO software, its community and want to see it succeed .

  • I have experience in moderating internet community, from world of warcraft guild leader to organizing competitive starcraft tournament to manager in different IT services .

  • I am very active on stackoverflow, know the rules, and know what work best.

Thank you for reading me

Hello together, it's cmadh.

I have been part of the EOSIO and EOS community since the beginning and have been here since the DAWN-XX versions, long before the eos mainnet went live. I was a mentor at the EOSIO hackathon in London in 2018, one of the core developers at KARMA, have consulted and helped with various projects, made 3rd place at the DAPP hackathon 2019, I've always been one of the top contributors on eosio.stackexchange the last few years and my company (liquiid/liquidstudios) is top 21 block producer on WAX and specializes in EOSIO and gaming.

I love to share my knowledge, help others and always stay up to date. Furthermore, the growth of the community and healthy togetherness is very important to me.

I would be honored to co-moderate eosio.stackexchange.

Hi, I'm Ami Heines

I would like to be a moderator here. I've been in the EOSIO community since before the EOS main net launched and contributed a lot of answers on this stackexchange site.

My main interest is in EOSIO as a server stack replacement for regular SQL databases and server side code. These 2 components should be replaced with EOSIO, you will get a high performance server and the data can't be tampered by a sys-admin.

I believe EOSIO will be a popular standard for regular IT companies as the new stack.

This election is over.
