In dpos system like eos, selected nodes take turns to create a block. How likely that they create a soft fork and the previously created block(s) get dismissed? Is there any statistics for it?

  • Perhaps this link about microforks about EOS Canada is grounds for an answer. – Gassa Dec 3 '18 at 11:26
  • soft forks imply producers modify the client while also maintaining backwards compatibility. if you mean orphaned blocks, that can happen all the time, particularly during handover after a bp finishes producing their 12 blocks – confused00 Dec 3 '18 at 16:25
