So i have a vector with eosio::names and my table has a primary key of the same type. I want the result of the intersection in my table as end result. Existing table data (other row fields) need to be maintained. What would be the most efficient way (cpu) to do this? I need to sort my vector with names but what next without having to loop like crazy.

Btw the other fields in the multi index table are time_point_sec types. So if a new name needs to be emplaced they can be filled with current time.

  • Can you elaborate your question? From where is your vector<eosio::name> (is it parameter of action)? What do you want to do with intersection (to build another table? or, build temporary data which is necessary during action execution)? – conr2d Dec 1 '19 at 4:49
